It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

Introduction to Grace and Second Chances:
- Grace is the unearned, undeserved favor of God. 
- It is not given because we are good, but because God is good. 
- Second chances are expressions of grace—opportunities to begin again, to live redeemed, and to be refined by God's mercy, not defined by our past.

Grace is the unconditional love, kindness, and favor freely given, not earned. 
- It uplifts, forgives, 
- and transforms, 

Receiving grace from God is not just a gift — it is a sacred invitation to walk in divine strength, undeserved favor, and unshakable love. When we open our hearts to His grace, we are empowered to rise above our struggles, restore what was broken, and become vessels of hope for others. - Hope and joy are deeply connected in the life of a believer. 
- Hope is the confident expectation of God's promises being fulfilled, 
- Joy is the inner gladness that flows from trusting in that expectation, regardless of current circumstances.

Hope fuels joy. When we hold tightly to God's promises, we find a deep-seated joy that sustains us. 
- When you truly believe that God is working all things together for your good, that He has a future and a purpose for you, joy will naturally spring up within your heart.

Joy is the emotional fruit of hope. 
- Hope empowers us to see beyond trials, 
- And joy erupts when we believe and trust in the goodness and faithfulness of God.

Hope and joy are two powerful and transformative elements at the heart of the Christian life.

Relationships Matter in 2026 (HOG-0013)

HOG‑0014: “It’s Time to Come Home to God” – Introduction and Overview

When life grows heavy with distraction, compromise, and distance from God, there comes a moment when the Spirit whispers—*“Come home.”* That’s the heartbeat of today’s lesson: *It’s Time to Come Home to God.* This is not a message of condemnation, but of divine invitation. God isn’t hunting us down to punish us—He’s calling us back to relationship. He is gracious, merciful, slow to anger, and great in kindness.  

The call is urgent, but the path is tender. In Joel 2:12–13 (NKJV), the Lord says,  
 “‘Now, therefore,’ says the Lord, ‘Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm.’”  

That invitation from Joel still echoes in every believer’s heart today. God is not asking for a performance—He’s asking for your presence.

This entire series moves through six connected moments of repentance and renewal. Each segment builds on the last:

1. God’s Urgent Call: “Turn to Me” – Understanding the immediate, personal nature of God’s call and learning what it means to turn to Him “with all your heart.”
