After months of research and 17 interviews, we decided to write a single narrative encompassing the experiences and facts we unearthed.

Kaitlin and Kyle. They met at a kissing booth. On their first date they went on a recording adventure (for one of the early Audio Smut documentaries about the Drag Queens). They became obsessed with each other. They ended up making audio recordings of a lot of almost everything that happened between them. 

Audio Smut made a piece with some of these recordings for the Audible Picture Show in 2012. This is another iteration of those archives. The next chapter. This episode is a peek into the power of a kiss, and the rise and fall of what could have been true love.

This is the last episode of the season. It is also the last episode of Audio Smut. Don't cry! We will be starting something new in a few months, better and more beautiful than ever before.

In this update-isode, we follow KP's whereabouts and goings-on since the Processing Palestine episode and the events that led to the genesis of our upcoming series: GREAT LOVE: Gaza Monologues Revisited. 
Responding to Ashtar Theatre’s global call to share testimonies from young Gazans first performed in 2010, the series features a chain of personal connections from New York to Toronto to Jordan to Athens to Beirut to Nazareth to Jenin and most importantly: to Gaza. Connections that were forged in a moment of grief and at the same time share some dark-as-hell comedy, appreciation for the sublime, a little too much wine and the most important kind of love: the kind that makes you care about people far away that you haven't met yet. 
On what is known as KP’s favourite holiday in Italy of all places, KP and her friend Ali Dajani talk about an upcoming ruling to come from the International Court of Justice about whether or not the Israeli occupation is considered legal, which determines whether or not the Palestinian resistance is valid. 
The day KP finally finished this episode 5 months later, just so happened to be the day that the ruling was published. The occupation is considered illegal, and the international court finds Israel guilty of apartheid. The court rules that Israel must leave as rapidly as possible and make full reparations for wrongful acts.

Imagine you're on the can, doing your business, you notice the sounds of serious sexy times wafting over from the stall just next to you. Or you’re at a festival, holding your breath in the port-a-potty, and hearing people getting nasty in the john just to your left.

Oh the beauty of multiple partners!  Doesn't today's free love revival feel so good and liberating?  Sometimes, yes.  Sometimes, not at all.
