Taken from a short collection of passionate Daft Punk mashups I made following their break-up. Daft Punk has always been a huge influence on the music I make here.

It's heartbreaking to see them go but in order to look to the future and bring some closure for myself I've put together this tribute which I hope you'll enjoy!

This newly self-titled album is the first denoted and most comprehensive debut album of The Heavenly Void.

The album is the accumulation of several EPs, LPs and singles I have made over the last four years. It reflects my abilities and progress throughout my time on Bandcamp and I'm excited for listeners to finally experience it with me. Tracks on this album consist of songs taken from the 'Heavens LP' and 'Incantation LP' respectively which are both byproducts of the 'Raining On TV EP' and 'Others LP'.

Since starting The Heavenly Void project in 2014 my sound as an artist has changed considerably. From my early days creating ambient soundscapes to my evolution into electronic beats my journey continues to lead me into a harmonious combination of the two. This collection of songs from me has been designed to offer a chilled out easy listening experience with thoughtful compositions and warm mellow synth tones.

Hopeful sadness. Disassociation. Quiet turmoil.

Aesthetically, this album is inspired by a nostalgic loneliness, late night motorways, VHS mirages and radio consumerism.

'Nemesis' is the official second album of The Heavenly Void written, composed and produced by Ayslyn Wren. Through months of hard work, this is the biggest album I've ever created from the amount of cut songs and revisions alone. It is a labor of love and I'm so happy to finally share it with you all!

I wanted this album to seem like the exploration of a virtual mind, as though the songs themselves were made by a computer trying to communicate with you however it can. At times that may be joyful, melancholy or aggressive. It's a Lo-Fi album at heart but my electronic inspiration comes from all over the place and it may at times dabble and mix different genres.

The themes are deeply rooted in cyberpunk and retro-futurism. The story of a lonely machine, the emotions it experiences and its journey to become validated as a living creature.
