This May will see Kerri Chandler’s MadTech records offer up the ‘MadTech 02 - Ibiza’ compilation, comprising twenty-six tracks from some of the most hotly tipped acts in contemporary electronic music.

The MadTech imprint has been running since 2012 and can boast material from the likes of Citizen, South London Ordnance, Applebottom and Josh Butler across its catalogue, here its A&R prowess is once again on radiant display as the label continues it’s compilation series following the success of MadTech 01. This time round the imprint delivers a weighty collection of hard-hitting house cuts with ‘MadTech 02 - Ibiza’ ahead of the impending Ibiza season.

The compilation welcomes some driving forces in house music at present with the likes of Josh Butler, Alexis Raphael, Leftwing & Kody, Cera Alba, Max Chapman, Celsius and Jonny Cade delivering exclusive content. In typical MadTech fashion the label has caught onto some promising up and comers early to boot, namely Black Girl/White Girl, Howson’s Groove, Simba and Cristoph.

This compilation also allows MadTech to shed light on some additional rising talents outside of its core release schedule with further offerings coming from Human Life, Bontan, Luvstuff, Third Son, Ten Story, Rich Wakley and many more.

Over the past twelve months, Howson’s Groove have been pulling all the punches with their UK focussed hybrid sound, merging the rough and smooth of House and Garage, with the grit and guile of Grime and Hardcore.
These new contenders based in South London are currently being championed by the likes of Rob Da Bank, Skream and DJ EZ.
They’ve been going from strength to strength ever since scoring an official remix for the one and only, Todd Terry on Southern Fried Records.

Their no holds barred 'Can’t Explain EP', released at the end of 2014 on Love & Other Records, has served as their most recent highlight. Premiered by both DJ Mag and Eton Messy, it earned a very rare 10/10 from Mixmag, plus a huge thumbs up from The Magician. 

We are now duly ready to beat the drum for their next knock out release, the soaring old skool strokes of 'Stand Up' and the rugged house swing of 'Turn Me'.
I think it’s fair to say this promising and exciting duo will not be throwing in the towel, anytime soon.

London based, up-coming singer/songwriter Phoebe Gorry offers up an emotive single-track composition for Love & Others latest release. Blending warm emotion and melancholic vocal hues ‘Done This Before’ takes us on a washed out journey of electronic bliss. 

Drawing influences from Jazz and Folk Phoebe's breathy voice flirts with the cloying depths of a lady day but also manages a crisp and clear passion with bolder pop-inspired moments. 

On remix duties NTEIBINT lends his experienced touch by elegantly reconstructing a slow burning 100bpm groover, met with a climbing synth line that builds into an epic crescendo through the track. Hot off the back of their ‘Can’t Explain’ EP on Love & Other, the second remix comes courtesy of Howson’s Groove with their re-textured dance floor interpretation.
