This week on The History of Jungle Show we welcome Boj Lucki onto the airwaves for a Bukva Sound showcase set. 
Since 2001 Bojan Lukic has been a resident and promoter for one the largest DNB nights in Scandinavia, REKYL as well as playing a major role in the Swedish Bass music scene bringing in artists including Goldie, LTJ Bukem, Fabio & Grooverider and a whole host of other talents. 
Bukva Sound is a brand new jungle label ran by Boj, operating from Sweden, Stockholm and Belgrade in Serbia. Promoting 'deeper, rave vibes' from artists across the globe with forthcoming music from Msymiakos, Thugwidow, Response, Buda, Coco Bryce and Tim Reaper.

The History of Jungle Show EP186 feat. Bukva Sound

Presenting Volume 5 of the Technicality Sessions: Tim Reaper.

@Tim-Reaper first fell in love with drum ‘n’ bass after discovering @AndyC_ram ’s @Mixmag-1 cover CD as a teenager. Countless hours followed, spent devouring jungle’s deep history – and later attending infamous club nights like @Rupture and our own Technicality. 

Since 2010, he’s earned a reputation within the 160+ realms for carving old-school energy into undoubtedly forward-thinking productions. His music has been reaching ears across the underground spectrum, in part thanks to the release of the 'Cityscapes' four-tracker (@Lobster-Theremin) and a collaborative EP with Special Request on @iamsherelle and @NAINA_ldn ’s @Hooversound Recordings. Followers of his will also be familiar with his releases on Globex Corp (co-run by @Dwarde) over the years. 

Also a DJ and radio host, as well as the owner of record label Future Retro, this mix combines Reaper’s numerous talents harnessing the frenetic energy of classic sets whilst paving the way for a new generation of artists. 
 
Expect organized, intoxicating chaos.

After six years of graft I finally hit a million plays on my profile, so here's something special that I've been sat on for a while. Easily one of my favourite mixes from the pandemic era, Astro Jungle Part 1 (inspired by/cunningly plagiarised Aldi-style from @kolanut's Space Mix) was recorded back in October 2020 and left to mature gracefully, like a fine cosmic claret. 1996 - The Ruff Mix

I was honoured to be asked by Mantra and Double O to warm up room  1 at Rupture's 16th birthday last month on 19th November, alongside a full line up of some of the best DJ's, MC's and producers in the scene!
It was daunting, to say the least, but I did it and, after a wave of pure anxiety I came off the turntables smiling and proud that I had done a pretty good job! :D
 
It's a little late, but, for those that missed it or couldn't make it, here is my 93/94 all vinyl vibe promo mix that I recorded at home a month before the gig..needless to say I was shitting my pants; of course, I changed a few tunes along the way running up to the gig!
Music is such a HUGE part of my life, I love it and can't live without it. I am so compassionate about music it that it sometimes consumes me, to the point of intense worry that I feel I should stop mixing..but I have turned a corner after Rupture and I have gained that passion again <3 

Thank you to my beautiful Rupture family, ALL friends, ALL loved ones and ALL the beautiful dance floor massive for keeping it real and friendly. I love each and every one of you.
