Welcome Jennifer Winkler to the Hormone Genius Podcast! Jen Winkler is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach based out of Phoenix, Arizona. She received certifications such as Master Health Coach through Primal Health Institute, Functional Blood Chemistry Specialist through Fundamenta Wellness, and Hormone Coach through Fiat Institute. She is a wife and mom to an awesome 7 year old little boy, and resides in Arizona. 

In Jen's own words, "After suffering for many years with epilepsy, insulin resistance, PMS, PCOS, anxiety, panic attacks, and signs of inflammation, I was tired of dealing with it all. I began to immerse myself in hundreds of podcasts, blogs, and books regarding healing through nutrition and lifestyle. I wanted to find healing without the horrible side effects of medication.

And I did it! By lowering my carbs, prioritizing protein, and consuming healthy fats, I was able to get off the majority of my medications, lower my insulin level, balance my blood sugar, clear anxiety, and rid myself of painful periods and PCOS symptoms. Many family and friends asked how I did it. I began helping them to reverse their symptoms as well. This led me to realize this was my new calling in life: to help coach others on what true healthy eating is so they can experience the freedom I did!"
