Sunday Soup Mix

United by the mutual passion for music and entertainment, international DJ Deep Chuck a.k.a. Charles(Brooklyn) travelled to Spain in 2000 and started to collaborate as vocalist / songwriter with well-known producers and dj's in the electronic music scene such as Pepe Tuccillo, De Melero, as well as promoters such as Silvia Prada pushing Barcelona's hottest clubs like Cabaret Berlin, CDLC, Shoko, Cat Walk. He has also owned his after-hours (Apt. 6, Barcelona) and his cocktail bar (Eight Bar, Barcelona) where he hosted numerous international dj's. While in Spain, Charles met his husband, Jonathan (Spain), a graffitti artist immersed in the Jamaican music scene selecting from reggae roots, dancehall to contemporary dub, has collaborated through many years with well-established selectors and Sound Systems as well as cutting dubplates for his own sound system. Without leaving his love for the Jamaican music, Jonathan decided to embark in a musical journey with Chuck in the Tech House - Afro Tech music scene, leading to the birth of United We Stand (UWS) in 2017.

The duo effectively combines their influences to create a timeless and innovative sound with fuses House beats with elements from Tech-House, Techno, Afro-Tech, Reggae and contemporary Dub.
