There's always a path through the narrowest canyon
No lonely dead-ends where you have no companion
We build our way based on things we learn
And the myriad of adventures we've come to discern.

We run as horses
we challenge the forces
we run around the world
looking for a place to call home

We took all the courses to learn the lies
but they ran down our cheeks away from our eyes 
the bitter taste of crime and error
took us on a trip in search of something fairer

We run as horses
we challenge the forces
we navigate the world
because being on the road is our home

We're not looking for beautiful and magical places
or familiar and loyal and comforting faces
we want our freedom to free you of your world

We honor your lives by cleaning your homes
we brighten your faces by writing you poems
we punish the thieves of your children's songs
when they turn good folly into what's morally wrong.

We run as horses
we challenge the forces
we run around the world
Knowing there is no place to call home.

‘Colorful crochet’ fisherman wanders the streets sipping a calyx staring blankly colorful crochet unknown a poster half torn with the portrait of a woman with close-fitting dress with calyx-shaped breasts breasts wanting to coming out he drops the calyx Busting red wine flows through the maze of sidewalk the wine activates the planet the planet begins to turn he puts the hands in the pockets tear the lining of the pockets a child shoots him with a plastic pistol and goes away jumping and laughing he faints into the liner of the pockets: the long corridors of dreams where tears come together in the wishing well where poets taste the sault the salt that breaks the chains of fear where the voice strips the shadows
