About his session at The Imaging Days:

It’s called “Jingles loves imaging”. Most stations today still have sung jingles, and I wanna talk about how these are used in the mix with in house imaging.. Creative ways in which station sound producers have used and abused my work to create something new and exciting, which hopefully will inspire others.
Ill also be opening up some sessions (from Wise Buddah) and talking about a few vocal tricks and techniques I have used.

About his session: We’ll talk ’bout making CHR intros and promos. It’s not like we Niels and I will tell you ”if you do it like this, you have the perfect promo“. We will showcase some promos and intros and tell the story why we think it’s good CHR imaging stuff!

Speaker: Chris Hartgers

About his session: "I’m not guarded over the techniques I use. I stand resolute that the thing that makes any of us stand out is our ideas. The techniques we use can really help producers unlock their creative ideas. So I’ll be opening up ProTools and doing a few bits and bobs. Some simple things like voice processing to the more advanced stuff like vocoding. It’ll be a interactive session – so if you wanna get on some techniques I’ll endeavour to demonstrate them."

About his session at The Imaging Days: "Chris Hartgers and I will tell how we make our promos and powerintros. Open up the Pro Tools sessions. It’ll be about the process, even though it’s often not a process; it just happens. Talking about making imaging is hard, but we’ll try."

Speaker: Niels Franken

James: "I’ve picked out the Pink Weekend promo for Capital Radio back in 2007. The reason I like it is that it’s promoting a winning weekend – but the prize and sell are pretty small – it’s all about the artist and her music. I love how it all blends together – not necessarily cleverly beatmatched, but nice transitions and blends. This was produced during the time we were working with Jeff Thomas – and it typified the production sound of the station then – and is completely different to the Capital sound now – which should make a nice comparison too."

#imagingdays2015 - Niels Franken

It begans with music.. Christian started as a german singer-songwriter. He became in touch with the best coaches of the German Music Council. He decided to study communication and media engineering in Germany and Scotland. In doing so he worked at the student radio station of the university as a radio presenter. 

After that he started as an Imaging Producer for Radio Brocken (AC) and 89.0 RTL (CHR).

He became head of production of 89.0 RTL and won the radio award of Central Germany in 2013 and 2014.
