Solid Steel (26th May) In Hour 1 we welcome Djrum to Solid Steel, a producer who has been turning heads since 2010 with his early productions on Smokin' Sessions, On The Edge and his Mountains EP on 2nd Drop Records. Some of his best mixes have been a soundtrack to an imaginary movie and it's no exception here, with music from Bjork, Randomer, Lurka, Gila, Colin Stetson, Kowton, Trus'me and Alva Noto & Ryuichi Sakamoto included to accompany a film in your mind. He told us;
"This mix has been conceived as a soundtrack to an imaginary movie. It differs from the kind of mix that i would do in a club, as the focus is more on creating an atmosphere or mood than it is about rhythmic drive."
