“By the Light” is a peek into the beauty of overcoming life’s burdens. Within the songs are brief yet honest stories of pain, redemption, turmoil, and passion. In this EP we hope that you can feel engrossed in its message and hear the hours of work from the people behind it. We hope that it’s words find meaning within your own life. Whether you like guitar-driven rock, smokey bar blues, catchy pop hooks, or alternative and thoughtful music, you’ll find a sonic home with Chase the Chariot. We love all types of music and try to draw as much inspiration as we can when we create our own music.

We’re so happy to have finished this EP and to show it to the world. For over two and a half years we have sculpted and molded these songs (as well as many others), and these songs have changed us. This is us on a canvas, in the clearest way we know how to present it. Clarity doesn’t require money, it requires determination and self-awareness to make what you hear in your head come out of the speakers. We hope that is what we have accomplished. Two microphones, and a real story to tell; that’s “By the Light”. We thank you in advance for listening, and hope there will be much more to come.
