35 years ago, this track was recorded as a demo in the studio of Radio Norrbotten, Gällivare. It featured H. Bjurbo on guitar, J. Gustavsson on Yamaha DX7 (strings) and M. Lundgren on Korg MS10/Yamaha CX5M (bass, effects). Since then, it has now become possible to separate the stems through the magic of Machine Learning from the only existing stereo mix! 

The guitar was lifted from the original recording and added to a completely new arrangement in 2023. This is the sped-up version- enjoy!

Rainy Summer Streets (Gällivare Dance Mix)

A test to see if a 90's "walkstation" (Yamaha QY10) can provide the foundation for an electronic track using modern production techniques. Entire song is sequenced on the QY10, using its internal sounds only, but produced with FX through Ableton Live.

Demo of the Ensoniq Fizmo. A single patch, recorded in one take. 

Drums and a touch of Toraverb added as final steps.

It's The Treasure (Ensoniq Fizmo Demo)

Another patch I created to learn the architecture of the Fizmo. It's a bell sound that evolves into a number of parallel sweeps. Playing the melody over sustained chords creates an interesting sound texture.

Drums and bassline added in Ableton Live, where I also overdubbed additional MIDI data to control the Fizmo patch further.
