Wiggling through the dusk light. The silent curators of the forest floor congregated to be heard. Envisioning an entity that would transpose their smallest vibrations into melodies, the arthropods began stridulating. As the rhythm became synchronized the flora joined in, snapping their roots to the beat. The Formicidae circled the cadence, resonating the sound. In exhilaration, the Lepidoptera began emitting silk that slowly encapsulated the spectacle. Through the evening the inhabitants slowly became intertwined and underwent metamorphosis. As dawn approached, a silent camouflaged cocoon patiently waited in the hills of Chuckanut. Until now. Those subtle sounds of nature no long would be overlooked, the final molt was complete. Cables was hatched. So join in for @Caable’s serenade that will have you wiggling into the night with Episode 016: Stridulation. Expect sludgy basslines, slimy melodies and bouncy beats. Or maybe the more nutritious option of Special k… Regardless of your sugar of choice, each comes with a prize of Strattcat. This sugary delight is bringing back the nostalgia of Saturday morning cartoons with Detroit basslines, old-school flavor and his own ORIGINAL track! This DJ/Producer was on the forefront of bringing underground electronic music to Bellingham and continues to strive to break the monotony of house music. Strattcat is currently coproducing the hottest project in Bellingham, Bodytalk, which is focusing on combining fashion, House/Techno while promoting positive body images.
