

Woke up on the lake-bank under a black walnut tree just now. I think I drifted off somewhere in my prayer.. the nimbus station is bustling with insectinoid travelers, probably on their commute home after a long day of hunting and gathering.. scarlet and blue leaf hoppers, spur-throated grasshoppers, eastern commas, some leaf-footed spectacle, weevil and bluet damselflies.. not to mention their source of nutrients, their shelter amidst the zephyr, their chlorophyll-riddled sanctuaries: soft ironweed, bluestem, aster, yellow oxeye, hickory, tumblemustard, sumac, hoary verbena.. and an actual milkweed bugaroo eating actual milkweed.. let it begin
