Wrote this song pretty recently and it's still in kind of a preproduction stage but decided to record it and stick it up anyway. It's pretty different to what I've been writing recently... but sure everyone needs a big sappy period ballad. Any feedback is welcome.

Lyrics:
I tried to tell you what I am like,
You didn’t listen to my advice,
I get so crazy when I’m exposed.
Rebuild my fortress,

Keep out unknown feelings that make me look weak,
Cos if there’s one thing I hate more than love its uncertainty.
I lust for Control and the power to lead,
And if I feel like a follower, I develop unease.

Cos I long to be clean.

When I feel dependent on someone else,
I start to lash out, and try to forget.
Creating distance, cos there’s always something to fear,

I know that my heart it may be bruised, scarred and charred.

A mistake I can make.
