Lead by Celtic Flute player Chris Horgan, the Jarrah Celts is a band of Celtic musicians from the Jarrah forrests of Roleystone, tucked away in the Perth hills of Western Australia.

Our music has a strong Irish and Scottish celtic base, infused with influences from our Australian home (Noongar country) with hints of jazz and blues and roots.

Dandjoo is a word meaning "Gathering" in the Noongar langauge. On this Album we have guest artists Ian Simpson, Rachel John and Jon Cope.

Get swept away with lively dancing jigs and reels, or sing along with us to rowdy pub ballads. Hearty tunes played with a collection of acoustic instruments such as wooden flutes, fiddle, uilleann pipes (Irish pipes), bodhran (celtic drum), guitars, cittern, double bass and mandolin.
