It's Like a....

Chadwick Kenyon is originally from the armpit of the country, New Jersey.  As a passionate left-handed guitarist/singer/songwriter, music has always been a pseudo-religion to this gifted 25 yr. old.  After exploring New York City and its seedy underbelly as a teenager, as well as the Jersey Shore Rock & Roll scene, he set out west at 18 to see what this country had to offer, and to gain experiences only the vast emptiness the American Southwest can bring.  After living in Los Angeles for a short time and deciding he did not like what he saw, he set out with a backpack and a guitar to hitchhike from SoCal to Seattle and listen and learn.  After joining a garage band in Seattle for the summer of 2009 and recording with members of Seattle’s own Magic Mirrors, he stumbled to the wonderful ski town of Breckenridge, Colorado, where he decided to set up shop for a few years and work on turning these travels into a cohesive song cycle, titled “Rock & Roll Music”, based on these past experiences.  With the help of Anthony Jacobs and Jive Studios, this song cycle has become his debut album.  Currently relocating to Phoenix, look for more music in the future from this artist. This is a section of a Biskups & Gravy improve session that was recorded in Silverthorne at The Jive Studios. 
This was done with 2 overheads over drums in middle of room 
bass & keys di 
re-20 on Taylor off center. 
It is one of my simpler setups and I think it captures the live feel pretty well!

Don't Rush!

This is a recording that I produced and engineered with Tango Red Tapestry.  Tango Red Tapestry is an up and coming Denver band with rock at the root of their sound.  This was a great project and it features Nick Hureau on drums, Brian Eastin on Vox and Guitar, Jesse Cottonstone on lead Guitar, and Daniel Snyder on bass.  What can I say?  This band rocks.  more to come.

This is a fun song that I made with Erik Lasko...  I sampled myself telling Erik that the "Knobs don't work" and that is who you hear when the knobs speech kicks in.  We had a fun time making music together.  Erik is an extremely laid back and happy individual with a lackadaisical attitude towards life, skiing and music but fun none the less.

I make music for the masses, Myself together with my good friends are a collaboration of Rocky Mountain Musicians that get together to collaborate on furthering each others musical ideas. We stem from roots of Porcelain Hand Jive that was formed in Colorado Springs in 2003. The Jive consists of past members of the band in addition to new artists from the rocky mountain region.  I build gear to make the music of our lives sound amazing and we record and produce it all.
