"The Kaleidoscope Project" is a Rock/Blues/Psychedelic multi-genre power trio based out of Houston, Texas. 
In the mid Summer of 2017, The group formed spontaneously in “Old Town Spring” after two members of a previous band in which, Nicolas Schultz, (Drums) and Sadie Williams, (Guitar) were involved, backed out of a gig hours before showtime. Multi instrumentalist, Tony Pope, was in the area when he heard the news of the situation. All three musicians teamed up, put together a list of cover songs and pulled the gig off successfully without a single rehearsal. The group was initially supposed to be a one off deal but because the group received such an overwhelming and positive crowd response, the group decided to stick together and formed what is now known today as “The Kaleidoscope Project”

Over a year later, and countless shows performed, “The Kaleidoscope Project” is currently one of the hottest groups in local scene. Their original songs fuse together elements of Classic Rock, Blues, Psychedelic, Funk, Jazz, and countless other sub genres. Making new fans every single show and also managing to play an extraordinary gig schedule!

 “Tonight we checked out a new band in Old Town Spring...called The Kaleidoscope Project, and we were really impressed with them.  Although the band is fairly young, they seem to take their influences from Classic Rock superstars.  Their young female guitarist, Sadie Williams, is nothing less than fantastic.  She has unbelievable command over her guitar performing. Things that I don't see women that young usually do.  When it came to performing some Led Zeppelin, she was extraordinary!  Vocalist and Bassist, Tony Pope, was equally impressive.  When he sang, he really kept the vocals authentic and his bass playing was definitely a step above.  That combined with the extreme drumming of Nicolas Schultz made this evening very enjoyable.  I'd definitely recommend this band as a "must see" for any Classic Rock enthusiast out there.  They definitely do that genre justice.  While we were there they were performing songs by ZZ Top, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Walsh, Cream, Zeppelin and The Who.  In addition to that they had a couple of really fine original songs as well.  It was really a great evening of entertainment. But, don't take our word for it.
