One of the first tracks composed for our series. A combination of this track plus our song "Fruity Flutey" make up the first bit of music heard in our opening episode.

One of the first tracks composed for our series. This combined with our track "Introduction" make up the first bit of music heard in our first episode.

Fruity Flutey

Our instrumental cover of the Smashing Pumpkins song "Today". The very first song composed for our series. From the earliest planning stages of our show, we knew that we wanted "Today" to be our opening theme.

Today (Magical Miniature Horse Mix)

A short theme composed to accompany our version of Twilight Sparkle. The idea of this song being a certain character's theme didn't last long as the song was quickly incorporated into the soundtrack of further episodes, regardless of Twilight's involvement in the scene.

Twilight's Theme

A track for the ruler of Equestria. Usually appearing in our episodes when the Princess is mentioned or when the scene calls for a more mysterious tone.

Celestia's Presence

The track's debut accompanied our main character's first viewing of the town it's named after. A short song with a fun assortment of strings, percussion, and a horn section reminiscent of the old Superman Theme. 

Ponyville

A track reminiscent of something you'd hear from a 90s RPG. Specifically reminds us of Final Fantasy IX. This song, along with another track, "Bubbly", make up a pair that unintentionally became a theme for our Pinkie Pie.

Stomp Your Way

A zany guitar riff inspired by a guitar track from an episode of Spongebob Squarepants. The song is named after a quote from the show. We've heard that the song from Spongebob was composed by Dimebag Darrel, the lead guitarist of the metal band Pantera, who was a huge fan of the show. We can't confirm the validity of this rumor.

Life's As Extreme! (As You Wanna Make It)

A little bass track first appearing with our introduction of Rarity. You can't really tell from the final product, but the intention when initially writing was to make a bass heavy song as cool sounding as the Seinfeld Theme. Thus, the track was named Festivus in honor of fictional holiday George Costanza's father invented. 

Festivus

The second half of our unintentional Pinkie Pie theme. The track first appeared with Pinkie's second appearance in the first episode. This one also reminds us of an RPG theme.

Bubbly (Pinkie's Reprise)

A track composed to have a sadder, more lonely feel than the rest of our music. Probably our favorite song from episode 1, and one of our favorite things we've ever composed in general.

Twilight's Lament

A heavy, atmospheric track created as a segue into a previously written composition. The title refers to the song's placement preceding the introduction of the antagonist of the first two episodes, Nightmare Moon.

Prelude To

A track that became the theme for Nightmare Moon's introduction in episode 1. The song "Prelude To" was written to accompany this track.

Blackened Lights

The song that plays at the end of our episodes. Though our instrumental cover of "Today" accompanies the start of our episodes, and is logically placed where a show's theme song should be, this track was actually intended to be our show's theme. Written with the hopes that whenever someone thinks of our series, this song would come to mind. We intend to go back someday and rework this into a much longer song.

Ending Theme

A very simple melody created to accompany a short scene at the beginning of our second episode. The track was looped for quite a bit longer than intended. We like the little melody, but honestly we aren't too fond of this droning loop as a whole. Track works a lot better when combined with other tracks or when just a bit of background noise is needed. 

Applejack's Theme

One of our favorites from episode 3, a waltz track that accompanies Rarity's plan to overthrow the Equestrian government. The "Siren's" in the title refers to Rarity infiltrating Celestia's court by manipulating the queen's nephew into falling in love with her, reminiscent to us of old sea faring legends of mythical creatures luring sailors to their doom. Another contribution to the title is that after the song was completed, a part of the melody reminded us of the Pearl Jam song "Sirens."

Siren's Waltz

An acoustic driven bouncy track. 1 of 3 that were intended to first appear in our 6th episode, but do to the episode's delay, instead debuted in our crossover with Scootertrix the Abridged.

This song is also from the set compossed by our new music man Silver Stream.

Memories and Accusations

A fun electronic song composed for us by Silver Stream. Most of the work composed by him we had very little hand in creating so we don't have much to say about them :/

Twilight Practices

A super cool tune! Starts off silly with a brass lead and keyboard melody, before picking up into a very pleasant violin section. As the strings play on, a second piano comes to shift the song into a more dramatic tone. 

One of our more complex works and the last of the 3 songs that ended up in the crossover special. Composed by the wonderful Silver Stream!

To Be or Not to Be

An acoustic guitar based track, the first new song to debut in episode 6.

Vanity not because the subject of the tune is vain, but because they are trying to win a fight they cannot win.

First debuting in the Origin Special, but written for episode 7, this high energy, electronic track served as stage music for a video game one of our characters was playing.

On the edge of something great. So close, you could almost reach out and grab it.

A slow funky track, built around ambient repetition.

Limestone Lovin'

A mess of ideas that came together into something tangible. We were stuck for awhile on the direction we wanted to go with the song. In the end we found that once we stopped looking for constraints where there were none, the track could become whatever we wanted.
