The Karmanauts (Michael Stephenson, Dominic Romano, and Sam Kaplan-Good) have spent the last year and a half creating the genre-bending “Moonstone.” The album contains a diverse collection of songs that maintain catchy and energetic hooks while spanning straight-ahead rock to psychedelic pop, while incorporating acoustic ballads, hip hop, ska, sci-fi along the way. The album was self-produced and mixed and was mastered by Joe LaPorta (Vampire Weekend, Grizzly Bear, Imagine Dragons, David Bowie).
