Your soul wants to show itself in its truest form, strength, perseverance, courage and determination of spirit. In this lifetime your soul needs to cleanse and open its feelings for katharsis.

With the double compilation “Infinite Summer: Ekstase & Fantasi”, katharsis celebrates the return of raves and concerts to society after a long period of pandemic shutdown. A magical summer has passed filled with an incredible pallet of emotional material, ready to be expressed. Therefore, we encouraged a collection of artists we adore to channel their imagination of the greatest way to conclude an endless summer night into a piece of music.

This resulted in a grand assemblage of harmonious manifestations, naturally splitting into two divisions with opposing focuses. On the first part of the duology “Ekstase” coming out on September 20th, we are presented with fourteen tracks for the dancefloor in an array of different styles, ranging everywhere from energetic morning vibes on the junglish opener “Origin, Gate's Dawn” by Yem Gel to hardcore sensations on Mang’s trap-infused roller “Based Halo”.

Seasonal Sounds is a seasonal programme which aims to do a sonic interpretation of the current (and coming) season - Both in terms of pace, seasonal events and its characteristics. It combines a variety of musical genres, sonic textures and field recordings in a mix for the season.

This Seasonal Sounds edition is dedicated to the cold and heavy season of winter. The season of hibernation, fragile icy textures and a deep thoughtfulness. It is time for great changes in the landscape and slow movements within it. And it is thick layers of untouched snow, which absorb the sounds from the world around us, and make space for the beauty of the introverted state of mind. WINTER.

A musical fantasia in four parts:


1. "Quantum Mist"
Abstract electronic environment
A sonic vapor—shifting sound waves, mysterious, unaccounted for. The atmosphere is uncertain, like waking in an unfamiliar reality. Something drops, but it's not water.


2. "Refractions in Blue"
Cool, slow jazz with saxophone
Melancholy light bends through memory. The saxophone wanders, searching gently through smoky twilight. Voices vocalize in blue smoke that lingers in the atmosphere.

3. "Echoes of the Divide"
An alien atmosphere, unearthly. Time and space crack into fragments. Unknown instrument plays strange motif. 
Operatic voices sing in intermingling, unfinished fragments.
Two worlds call to one another across the veil—voices intertwine, neither in harmony nor dissonance, but in haunting parallel.


4. "Convergence"
Final section: vocal phrases, electronic background, clarinet, saxophone ad-lib motif.  Reality folds inward. Clarinet and sax play fragments of forgotten songs as the dimensions collapse into a unified breath.
