Letter To Hip Hop

With an undeniably dope style, this Chi-city native is methodically plotting his takeover. Possessing a voice and a flow that is classic, with a swagger that rivals the best in the business, and lyrics sicker than a hospital emergency room, Lue Masters is the definition of what happens when you mix skill, swagger, and dedication into one person.

The name Lue started from just what his family would call him for a "nick name" growing up on the south side of Chicago, but he would later attach Masters to it, seeking to master all aspects in life.

Growing up, Lue dealt with a lot of life's hardships at an early age, including the death of his grandfather who happened to be a jazz drummer and was a big inspiration to Lue musically. While attending Dixon Elementary School and South Shore High School he was affiliated with gangs, drugs, and other unsavory parts of the streets, but never strayed away from his music. A near death experience, the violent deaths of close friends & family problems caused Lue Masters to re-evaluate what he wanted to do with his life.


Lue Masters decided to attended Columbia College.  After a couple of semesters majoring in Audio Arts & Acoustics he couldn't continue because school became too expensive.  This caused him to enroll at the Music Industry Workshop, where he received a certificate in a music business course and decided to give the industry ago off of pure determination and grit.

After applying the knowledge & tools he learned from hands on studio experience & schooling Lue decided to release his first solo mixtape titled "The Forgotten Vol.1" where he previously went by the name "G-BALL". He released two volumes under the title which Lue also engineered himself. Shortly after, Lue Masters became a father & decided to put his music journey on hold so he could devote more time to his newborn son. This choice did hinder Lue's drive & creativity but after a lengthy hiatus from music, he has returned with improved drive, skill, & purpose. Reinventing himself in an even brighter light than before.


With a solid music foundation, a dedicated team of creativity, and an increasingly growing fan  base, this combination will give birth to one of the most versatile and unique Rap Artist to enter the game in quite some time. Lue Masters is on his way to becoming one of the voices of true hip hop's next generation. With his new single Titled "Get To It" on all streaming platforms. With his message & with the city of Chicago behind him, Lue Masters is destined to ultimately become one of the reasons why hip-hop's future will stay firmly intact.
