"Lisbon" is the first single of the forthcoming debut album by the band. The song’s imagery is a reflection on the fragility that occurs in the endless search for the meaning of life. The verses are dreamy, yet simple and outgoing. Decorated with flutes and choirs the chorus aims to contrast towards the empathic and frustrated.

Lisbon

The Last Ocean Rider compose music, which draws inspiration from the windborne psychedelic pop of the 60’s and the 70’s as well as the newer revival of folk music from the 00’s. The music is characterized by intricate and grandiose choral arrangements combined with beautiful, melodic guitar motifs and lavish sounds of synthesizers in a dreamy soundscape of intimacy. Lyrically the songs revolve around subjects such as the anticipation of happiness and hopelessness, the ever-changing seasons, the pursuit of happiness and a sense of being left alone in the world.
