Six years lost in space, The Layders finally find their way back from the future. Upon their voyage, they have discovered new galaxies and extra terrestrial beings that have their own advanced way of life.
 
Ckenz Voucal and Scott Ross are back again since their last release ‘Puff The Jones’ ft Kaznova in 2014. Their sound has evolved from their debut album ‘For All Seasons’ which was released in 2012 under Soul Candi Records.

The first single taken from the album is called ‘Star Girl’ which is an intergalactic love story. “..Playing it safe was not an option, because we want to create a new lane for generations coming after us, and encourage creativity without boundaries…”

The very essence of what The Layders are is music with no boundaries and that’s why they cannot be associated with any specific genre. The most prominent though of some of the genres that they do are Hip Hop, Neo soul, House, Latin American music like the mimosa, Jazz, Kwaito, Funk, the lists goes on and on. The point is that they are a music band and not constraint to a specific genre.
