This is it, this is the theme to the final level of Riot and Trigger.
The location for this level is the core of the planet ArcWorld (the game's main setting). Riot or Trigger must journey to the gate from which the universes most feral and deadly demons will be released in order to stop a major calamity from happening.

I threw in quite a few references here and there, and wanted to go for more of a "culmination of your efforts" feel for this song. The softer parts of the song are here to remind you that no matter how strong you got on your playthrough of the game, at one point you were just starting out. In that way, I think the song is quite sentimental.

This is a version of Cliff Farm from Grunty's Revenge which uses instruments from Banjo-Kazooie - the original, N64 game, that is! Rather than using soundfonts created from samples extracted from the game - I instead put this together by sequencing a MIDI version of the song, and individually importing the tracks into the Banjo-Kazooie ROM using an amazing bit of software called the "N64 MIDI Tool", which was written by SubDrag. I then recorded the tracks from the hacked ROM using Project64, and composited them. So, hopefully this is a relatively authentic imagining of what it would have sounded like if Grunty's Revenge was an N64 game!
