The Lights Beneath is a progressive instrumental rock band from Jackson, NJ. The band consists of guitarists Eric Nelson and Eric Avilla, bassist Stephen Gentile and drummer Jesse Ramirez, who aim to create powerful storytelling without words. The band leans on influences including Between the Buried and Me, Explosions in the Sky and Radiohead, but deliver ambient, dark, lively and symphonic sounds that are all their own. The Lights Beneath’s debut album, "All I Ever Wanted Was the Fire," was released in 2014 by Lakehouse Recording Studios, an iconic staple in the indie Asbury Park, NJ, music scene. The band is currently working on their sophomore album, promising to deliver on the same bold vision of their first album but with some edgy surprises.
