Owners Ed Rawls and Justin McNeight, (serving as producers, arrangers, and the Living Room Rhythm Section), called upon the wealth of talent they've had the pleasure of working with over the years (including Mastodon, Black Lips, and more) to curate and construct a collection of cover versions of some of their favorite tunes.  Songs by The Cure, The Kinks, Bill Withers, Harry Nilsson and more all get dudded up Living Room style.

I Can't Stand It (feat. Jacuzzi Boys)

'Ain't No Sunshine' is a legendary song, written by Bill Withers and released on his debut LP 'Just As I Am' (1971). We had a great time tackling this classic, aided and abetted by Mr. Brent Hinds, of Atlanta's very own Mastodon.

George Harrison described this wonderful song (released in 1973) as "a prayer and personal statement between me, the Lord, and whoever likes it."  Well, we like it, and we also really like Pete D. and Anna Kramer.

Give Me Love (feat. Pete D. and Anna Kramer)

Paul Simon wrote this tune, and Simon and Garfunkel released it three times between 1968 and 1972.  It was also covered by Yes! Our version features the lovable Tom Cheshire (West End Motel, All Night Drug Prowling Wolves).

America (feat. Tom Cheshire)

Originally from the soundtrack of the amazing Monkees movie 'Head' (1968). We take a trip into west coast lysergic pop with Mr. Cole Alexander of Atlanta's beloved sons The Black Lips.  You also hear the formidable talents of Adron on vocals.  This is a Gerry Goffin and Carole King song: they also wrote 'The Locomotion!

Porpoise Song (feat. Cole Alexander of Black Lips and Adron)

This was the opening track on Harry Nilsson's 1971 LP 'Nilsson Schmilsson', perhaps eclipsed at the time by the monster 'Without You', which opens side 2!

Gotta Get Up (feat. Blair Crimmins and the Hookers)

This tune was the first number one in the UK for the Cure in 1983. Our version is a stripped down intimate take, featuring the not-at-all-Robert-Smithian vocal talents of Julia Kugel (the Coathangers, White Woods).

The Love Cats (feat. Julia Kugel of The Coathangers)

This Kinks song was written by Ray Davies for the Animals, but they turned it down, so it was recorded for the first time in 1966 with Dave Davies on vocals. It was released as the b-side to Sunny Afternoon and subsequently most notably covered by the Chocolate Watchband in 1968. Our version is of course superior, not least because it features Greg King (G.G. King, The Carbonas)!
