TRIVECTA SET (Webster Hall NYC 2/3/23)

Illenium was the first EDM artist I ever saw live in 2019 for Ascend.  It was literally way up in like the 400 section or something LOL, but it was a life-changing experience for me.  It opened my eyes to raving & electronic music and I can't imagine my life without either.  🥹

In honor of Trilogy 3.0 in LA coming up, I wanted to make a mix that revisits a LOT of his discography & remixes as well as mashups & VIPs he’s played at his live shows before (with my own twists of course 😉)!  Whether you’re a long time Illenium fan, or only recently started listening, there’ll be ID's you know and love 💖

I chose to play heavy dubstep early on, because a lot of my headbanger friends were coming xD So I wanted to please them... but then the set will mellow out afterwards with melodic bass + house / bass house :) I hope you guys like it!!

I had this amazing opportunity for an “Open Aux” competition for the BTO festival in SF, meaning it’s a contest for who gets to be added to the lineup! 

Being able to play for a collective, whose goal is to highlight amazing growing artists, would be a dream come true and the perfect way to debut in SF ❤️ 

This is my 30 min mix for it (and for y’all) with high energy and feels from start to finish.  EVERY mashup you hear was made w/ my own hands and I’m reallllyyy proud of how this turned out given the short timeframe! 

To me, the best live sets are the ones that are diverse, have different levels of energy throughout and have ID's/edits you've never heard before.  That's what I tried to emulate here, so hope y'all enjoy! 🙏🏽 Best of luck to anyone else entering!
