All The People was a Florida-based funk & soul act who was joined by vocalist Robert Moore Jr on this track released back in 1972. Moore was the master of a singing style known as 'soul scatting'. His career later took him to Miami, where in 1979 he joined a group headed by Herb Reed, one of the original Platters. He stayed with Reed until 1993.

That momentum carried into his first official release, ‘Claviee’, which earned him a spot in Magnetic Magazine’s monthly Top 15 Disco & Funk Tracks, with the magazine praising it as “a groovy little disco number that will have you throwing your hands in the air and shaking what your mama gave ya.”
