We are very excited to announce the second installment of our podcast series!
Today, we have the pleasure of sharing some delightful sounds, put together by our good friend, Jimmy Fingers.
Jimmy is nothing short of a legend. He is a founding member of Footprints, an underground music event that takes place at the legendary Killing Time bar in Melbourne's south. He contributes so much to our community and we are extremely grateful for this. He runs a little doof somewhere out there called Fingers in the Bush that has given nothing but gold memories for its attendees to cherish.
He was on the bill for our last event that we've had to postpone but we couldn't resist the call to have him on our podcast series!

Dan has been involving himself with many different projects and crews since 2012. 
He has co-founded Live Presents, an event with the sole intention to provide underground electronic dance music, played live. 
He is also the co-founder of Sixthsense, a psychedelic and progressive techno and prog house night with a focus on heightening all 5 physical senses.
He has played to dance floors including Revolver for the Red Moon Tribe takeover, for Renegade at My Aeon and he opened the Bush Techno Stage at Esoteric this year.

The Lost Playground Radio #4 - Supine

Welcome to another episode of The Lost Playground Radio!
This time around we have the absolute pleasure to have none other than Chestwig taking control of your mind, your body and your soul!  
A long time presence in the Melbourne music scene, Chestwig has played many amazing underground events and festivals across Australia over the years. He is one of the few to have had the privilege to play Rainbow Serpent’s notorious Market Stage. His first set there goes as early as 2006! But that’s not all, as well as playing some of our favorites Australian festivals such as Chi-wow-wah Town, Ranch-o-Relaxo, and clubs by the likes of Revolver, he has an array of famed international events under his belts. Fusion Festival in Germany and Secret Garden in the UK as well as other scattered club gigs across Europe. 
His sets are a blend of underground disco, kooky electronica and any other terms you can think of to describe it! The sure thing is that this guy know a thing or two about blurring the genres lines and most definitely takes your mind to places! We have tried to get him on the events a few times and when the time came we had to postpone it for obvious reasons! Regardless, he has been very generous to take part in our journey with an eclectic mix that we already have on repeat at our HQ!

Kids of The Lost Playground! Welcome to another episode of our radio show! 
Hailing from Italy, this time we have a long time friend of ours Lemi Shoya to take care of this musical journey. This one is another gem. Over the years Lemi has built a solid vinyl collection that showcases his taste for exquisite music. From piano riffs to tribal percussion to acidy bass lines, he sure has a wide range of musical colors to make you enjoy the experience! If you ever travel to the southern part of Italy called Lecce, don't be surprise if you see him playing in some of the best venues the place has to offer. From sunset time by the beach to well heated dancefloors across the clubs of the peninsula. Lemi Shoya runs his own monthly show on the Italian radio Mondonero. We are thrilled to have him on on the show with us this week!

Known to us as Magic Moe, he is one of our favourite seasoned veterans of dance floors in many different corners of the earth and resides currently in Melbourne where he dedicates his time to creating magical party’s all across Victoria, indoor and in the open air of the beautiful Australian bush. Moe has been a huge part of curating some of the Melbournes most magical gatherings/collectives such as Garden of Eden, Celestial Gathering, Melbourne Dance Music Academy and the Temple of Boom where his work ethic, mentality to inspire and create magic for the people has no bounds. Enjoy the journey that he will take you on with this mix!

The Lost Playground is a music and arts event that started in Melbourne, Australia in 2019. This is where you will find mixes and live recordings from the events. 

Just over a year ago we started The Lost Playground. In this fraction of time, TLP has already brought us so many memories that we hold dear and, most importantly, it connected us with you and with other beautiful people like you.

The beautiful city of Melbourne is fertile ground for freedom of expression and artistic elaboration of ideas. The amount of love that is felt throughout the creative community is none but the vital force that unites, challenges, provokes, and most importantly inspires artists to nurture their element. It allows them to reach for that essence, to experience stillness, and to thrive in such an environment that propels the best out of their ideas.
It is based on this feeling that we created The Lost Playground, our place for contributing to the creative scene of this city we call home.
For our institution, art, music and expression of self are the pillars of our community. TLP is filled with art and we believe in creating the right environment for your experiences that will become memories to cherish. We want to inspire you the same way that we are inspired by this city, our fellow promoters, and other gatherings. The Lost Playground is the space where you lose yourself to participate, to connect, to dance, and to express your best self surrounded by artists and positive individuals.

We champion merging music genres and creating a journey for emotions and vibes to evolve and to interconnect throughout the events and on our digital platforms.

In this first year, we have been blessed with the opportunity of guesting some of Melbourne's finest creatives. To see the names that have graced The Lost Playground with their presence and vision has been a humbling and surreal experience. Artists that we look up to and that we got the chance to interact with. We have found ourselves astounded to see what we have accomplished and what we have learned each and every time. Every success and every failure. We could have not been more inspired by what unfolded in front of us and specifically, going back to a full circle, by the amount of love shown to us.

We would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to each and everyone that has taken part in our journey. To the amazing guys in charge of the venue who let us use their space to express ourselves. To the Staff, making sure everyone's cup is full. To our team who helped us early in the morning and late at night. To everyone that showcased their art and their talent. To those who came and believed in us. To those who are with us and to those who will. Our hearts are brimming with joy and we are looking forward to reconnecting with you!
