Our latest Sunday Mix comes courtesy of L’Rain, aka Brooklyn singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, and MoMA PS1 curator, Taja Cheek.

Much like her music, Cheek’s hour-long mix mines strength in the space between beats, verses and tracks. Subtle R&B harmonies, jazz, ambient and understated electronic sounds come together over the course of the mix, supplied by the likes of Space Afrika, Smerz, Flying Lotus, KeiyaA and Cheek herself.

Speaking on the mix over email, Cheek describes it as one to “save for a lazy Sunday afternoon”. Upon listening, we're inclined to agree.
