Welcome back past Daisychainer (#112), Brooklyn's Dee Diggs (@dee_diggs), taking us on a kinetic vibe journey and love-dancing through uplifting house for the Daisychain residency on Berlin's Refuge Worldwide 📡🌐🌼

Dee Diggs is a Brooklyn-based DJ dedicated to celebrating the Black and queer origins of house music and creating space for marginalized groups to express and organize themselves. 

Her energetic, yet deep approach to DJing has seen this Boston to Brooklyn transplant lighting up dancefloors all over; in particular, garnering attention in the queer party scenes. The year 2020 found her at the top of her game after a debut European tour during August 2019, her name popping up on top bills on a weekly basis in NYC, before the COVID-19 pandemic curtailed that momentum. Now in 2021, she can be found returning to DJing at IRL parties, still crafting soulful nostalgic DJ mixes for Soundcloud and radio, while also building her music production chops in her home studio, and her event House of Diggs.

Kourtney, aka Rose Kourts, is a Brooklyn-based DJ, party-starter, and dance floor fixture hailing from North Carolina. She’s made a name for herself with her dynamic sets and the infectious energy she brings to her performances. She plays from the heart, encouraging listeners and dancers to go on a journey of movement, connection, and emotional release through her signature blend of crunchy, funky, groovy, hype, and hypnotic selections. 

She can regularly be found setting off Brooklyn’s dance floors - performing alongside luminaries in house and techno, throwing events, collaborating with fellow local artists, and putting out label and radio mixes. She is a co-founder and resident of Sweet Kicks, a community-focused DIY party with sounds straddling house and rave, and of In Bloom, which centers around the joy of blooming forth on a pulsing dance floor. Additionally, she is the mastermind behind a NOW compilation-inspired party of feel-good music that brings unpretentious, nostalgic favorites to the club.

Brown Amy has been a Bay Area DJ for 11+ years spinning everything from oldie 45s to 90s house beats. They are a part of Chulita Vinyl Club collective, mentoring up and coming DJs as well as a founding member of SF’s award winning daytime dance party, Hard French. They are on the path of producing original tracks and can be seen parked out front of your favorite dance party holding it down in their low rider.

Legit had so much fun playing vaguely downtempo kitchen sink freak jams for the like 20 friends and strangers there 🎃 This recording is missing a DJ Deeon cut up top out of @evkh set (forgot to record) and I fully intended upon playing Willie Colon's "Set Fire To Me (Inferno Dub)" AND Steve Miller Band Like an Eagle at the end but I ran outta time milking Moby's interdimension mix of the B-52s "Is That You Mo-Dean?"  when like ten people showed up on the dance floor in the last 20 minutes and started to waltz together. EDIT: oh fuck it tacked on those two tracks this is the directors cut ppl

lets see I also left the dub echo on for like 2 min somewhere in here, played some bass stuff up top just for @figur36 , and the headphone cue on the mixer stopped working halfway through -- i had a blast 🤤 thx @drvmmy for the ones and twos
