The lead architect on this project is none other than Tilly Barber. All round aesthetic god, super mum, lifestyle oracle and one of the nicest people you could have the pleasure of meeting.

This mix hits, hard, in all the right spots. A collection of feelings, thoughts and idea’s all tipped into a beautiful musical melting pot. The final product speaks for itself, expressing a deep understanding of raw emotion. Musical offerings new and old from all over the world, lovingly littered with sound bytes from Mother Nature herself. Covering all bases in poetic motion, it slowly weaves in and out of consciousness, subliminally taking control, then letting you go. It’s the perfect accompaniment to a brisk walk through the bush on a cold winter's day with the sun peaking through the canopy, this (mix) being the only thing keeping you warm. Very proud to have @whysufar on the 27th Selects. Part of the inimitable Translate crew of whom created some literal pillars of Eora/Sydney scene in the form of a sound system and who constantly impress with their events - Sufar has kindly shared this delicate, deep and bubbling warm up set for Donato Dozzy at the Strange Signals after party at a warehouse earlier this year. A beautiful trip of a mix that demonstrates Sufars strong knowledge of not only how the speakers work but what should be coming out of them..

Vol. 65 comes from Hi-Vis, founder of the excellent mix series Beyond / Below, one half of Farplane, and label operator at Dreamtone. Their mixes are something special, always thoughtful in movement and resonant in feeling. This one has a light buoyancy about it, as well as some very subtle sonic themes running throughout that remind me of the sound / smell of crisp air :)
