It is a piece of incomparable dynamism and joy of playing by the protagonists. A piece to fall in love with, to appreciate jazz rock, progressive and psychedelic music. Not a piece to just listen to in passing. It will challenge you. Get involved and you will experience a rapid flight through time with all its antagonisms.

Andrea Dama is a long-time member of the Sameheads cosmos: the DJ and producer from Brescia, Italy is the co-founder of their in-house “Dancing For Mental Health” parties along with Budino and Tom Bolas. Dama has been actively contributing to the Berlin music scene since 2013, running the Oscillator label and parties (with Beppe Loda as resident DJ) until 2017, and appearing at various underground radios and mix series like Mutant Radio, Rinse FM, HÖR and Cashmere Radio. With his recognizable style, he is blending heli-italo, synth pop, obscure b-sides and early 90s breakbeat into a balearic, dubby yet cosmic journey. Dama has been a resident DJ at the infamous Cocktail D'Amore party since 2015. Besides his own productions, he runs his own label Protofuture.

While all of us are living the quarantine life, Good Room has asked friends and residents to share mixes for our Solitude Series so you can dance on your own. The 37th mix comes from Jen Z of glitterballnyc.com, a site that has focused on spreading the word about the best of NYC's underground over the last decade. After a more than 10-year hiatus, Jen has come out of DJ retirement and recorded her first live mix, a synthy blend of some of her recent and all-time favorite tracks.  

"From countless amazing nights on the dancefloor to celebrating our wedding there five years ago, Good Room has been 'home' since it opened its doors," shared Jen.
