For MNMT 396 Konduku presents a mix of lucid techno experiments, full of new and unreleased heat delivered in curious time signatures and rhythmic pulse.

His releases have seen him majoring for the likes of Nous’klaer - a label he’s most commonly associated with - to releases with Delsin’s Mantis Series, DJ Nobu’s Bitta label, and his celebrated Parlama EP for Spazio Disponibile - Konduku delivers an undeniable sonic pattern of uptempo, liquid and polyrhythmic groove.

Repping an oft overlooked Swiss techno contingent comes the next guest in Bassiani’s podcast series. Basel born and raised Garçon is one of the most promising names to call the bucolic town on the shores of the Rhine his home. He got an early start, mixing from the age of 14 and booked a mere two years later, assiduously cobbling together influences in his early work and soon delivering performances city-wide. First those at Hinterhof (now closed) and then those at local staple Elysia. With musical collaborator Agonis he’s also fired up techno label Amenthia Recordings, an agar dish for like-minded Basel music makers. His own sonic experiments are a purely live affair, and that’s no bad thing. Garçon’s escapades, from Waking Life to Barcelona’s Parallel have honed his voice and made of him an adept hand when faced with the strenuous demands of modulating crowd energy. Nodding to a range of influences across the electronic map he harbours a superlative talent for finding niche sounds at the fringes of common scope. Enter Podcast 208: towering, no-bullshit sounds, an hour of ghostly, mechanical whispers and powerful basslines, earth-shaking and infinitesimally precise techno from this connoisseur selector.

Forging this mix with a specific scene in mind: the full-body immersion and psychological surrender of deep, compelling club music transmitted through a dimly-lit, hazy space over an imposing, physical soundsystem. In anticipation of the next release on Eaux, a mini-album collaboration with Polygonia entitled "Dermatology," I have decided to release a rare recording of one of my live sets, taken from this year's Mostra Festival, located in the historic Montjuïc Castle overlooking Barcelona. Performing in the evening in this majestic location with the open-minded Mostra audience, I felt especially free to let this set unfold even more slowly and patiently than normal. Some of the material is taken from the upcoming release with Polygonia, so it also functions as a sort of hidden sneak preview. I hope you enjoy the journey :)

Berlin-based Keplrr has spent a decade crafting a signature sound that fuses ceremonial techno with driving house and minimal influences. Having made his start in Peckham’s underground scene, the UK artist quickly progressed from DJing at venues like Venue MOT, The Rising Sun, and Rye Wax, to playing key London clubs like FOLD, Corsica Studios, and The Cause.

His tracks, which have found homes on tastemaker labels like Midgar, Control Freak and Pressure Dome, create deep, immersive soundscapes that challenge the conventional boundaries of techno. Running through them is the core idea of ‘falling and out of a trip’, and considering that feeling from different angles. The end result is something between meditation and momentum; tension and warmth, all rendered with captivating subtlety and attention to detail. Meanwhile, his DJ sets offer sleek, hi-energy sounds paired with experimental rhythms, weightless blends, and rushes of melodic release.
