We are super excited to present Someone Sunny as the fourteenth mix for our sounds of SMUT mix series.  Someone Sunny, moniker of Lawrence, is a London-based DJ and party organiser who also just happens to be a huge sweetheart. As well as residencies on Bloop London and Voices Radio, Someone Sunny also co-runs a rave/wellness programme alwayssunny that aims to create a more sustainable framework within dance music by making wellness accessible.  This is a fiery uplifting mix showcasing a strong selecting ability.  Come for the deep bass and ghettotech percussion 15 minutes in but stay for the dreamy 90s vocals hitting an hour in.  This is one that will keep you coming back for more, a soundtrack for more radiant days to come. Big big luv to Someone Sunny for putting this together for us.

“I had so much fun recording this and was dancing the whole time I was playing  it has a deep start that brightens into House and Speed Garage, and explodes into Ghettotech, Breaks, Electro, Acid and Experimental Techno before ascending into Trance, 90s euphoria and a big sunny ending!”
