Lindsay Zae is an interdisciplinary creative, working as a DJ, model, actor, and designer in Brooklyn, NY.

As the host of Summer School Radio (@summerschoolradio), Lindsay seeks to emulate the generosity and spontaneity of sharing music with others, with a multi-genre selection that harkens back to her origins: warm summer evening joy rides soundtracked by the aux-chord rotation. At a dance party in Seattle in 2017, DJ'ing was introduced to Lindsay as a catharsis, and a way to create a loving space. She's been mixing ever since. She is self-taught, green, growing, and she wants you to move your body.

Dameeeela is an incredible DJ, and producer. You’ve probably heard her name whether it be from her meticulously curated @spotify Track ID’s, her recent first @boilerroomtv (followed by the next one in a couple of weeks!), her genre defying set at Pitch Music & Arts , or her debut track that’s broken it’s way into every single DJ’s playlist “The Shake Up”. With a plethora of exciting projects in the works, it’s going to be one exciting summer.

Stylistically as a DJ, Dameeeela seeks a lot of inspiration from Four Tet(can we blame her?). She admires artists that are unique, incomparable, exciting, interesting, genereless, and coherent.

It’s an absolute pleasure to share this episode of WDSWWS with Dameeeela, a true personal inspiration.
