Native to New York, musclecars is a DJ / Producer duo consisting of Brandon Weems and Craig Handfield. As musicians, they equally share an admiration for the artform. Their desire to blend genres and express their appreciation for music is focused around their community- the end goal is to bring people together. Through a regular stream of high quality mixes, they have begun to turn heads in underground circles.

In 2018 they launched ‘Coloring Lessons’, a party that was aimed to add value to their city’s nightlife culture. While the party and sound is not genre specific, it is heavily focused around house, disco, jazz, and soul, embracing the musical elements of their black and brown ancestors. The monthly party's intention is to bring New York City's dance music scene back to what it was during the golden era of NY nightlife. They aim to spread the music that has been influential to them, and share it with a younger generation of their peers.

"Somewhere around 1999/2000, DJ Sneak and I arrived in Ibiza, but our luggage, including our vinyl crates did not. We spent the next 36 hours driving back and forth from the Saint Eulalia area checking for our vinyl after every flight with our airline. This was pre-cell phone era, so communication was sparse at best. After at least 6-8 trips back and forth, they arrived on the last flight possible to have records for our gig. From his A&R work with Emotive Records, to his underground anthems like "Welcome to the Magic Session" on Strictly Rhythm under the Session #9 alias, to countless productions and edits on some of house music's most important imprints like Wave Music, Defected, FFRR, Junior Boy's Own, Nervous, to his 17-year "Vibal" residency at New York's much missed Cielo, he's contributed an immeasurable amount to the fabric of the culture. David Harness has been a key figure in the San Francisco Bay Area house music scene since the early 90s. He has been described as ‘a man who lives, breathes and emanates everything that is beautiful about deep house music and classic garage.' His residencies at Club Universe, The End Up, popular Bay Area radio station KMEL FM along with his compilations and productions on Tribal America, Vega Records, and his own Moulton Music have kept David's name relevant for more than 20 years.
