Dear listener, here’s the recording of the Ambient Set I’ve played at Rausch aka a SleepOver Ambient & Drone night. 

With a reminiscence of cinematography and “Saudade” as we say in Brazilian Portuguese : (a form of bittersweet Nostalgia) ; 
This mix is a good sonic retrospective of ambient music that followed me in different “connecting dots” moments of my life, all made by artists I admire. A lot of classics in this time of 1 hour and 23 minutes!

There’s a special focus on/ and inspiration by Female Pioneer Sound Artists from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s such as : Suzanne Ciani, Joanna Brouk, Wendy Carlos, Éliane Radigue, Kelela, Astrud Gilberto, Ariana Grande…

This mix is played and made for my ground, to help me get back to myself when needed, but also for you to easily enjoy and give your soul/body and self a soft, kind, a Proper Carefree moment through a sonically emotional, yet gentle & pilloweey dream journey you could hop in, wherever you are, whatever you are doing or being.

It personally reminds me of those “wake up early before the others in the house” moments as a kid, with the joy and peace of the Dawn sky getting brighter in the morning before the sun rises and lights up the day. 

Briefly, the mix goes from darker to lighter, foggier to clear and lower to higher, with a happy ending - Kind of represents the transition from winter to summer.
A helpful tool against rigidity + a dose of innocence…
