'Pedacito de esperanza' primer sencillo de Cerrero, nuevo proyecto de Diego Gómez, con la participación de la legendaria cantante Lucía Pulido. 
Sonido crudo, meditabundo, percusión ritual y bajo profundo mezclados con la conmovedora voz de Lucía en un ritmo hipnótico en donde la consola, las reverberaciones y los ecos son los instrumentos para crear en la tradición mas purista del dub. 

Nicola Cruz, lider del movimiento de 'Andes step' que se toma el mundon desde Ecuador, y Mitú, proyecto de tecno selvático liderado por Julian Salazar y el percusionista palenquero Lamparita, se unen al proyecto con dos versiones únicas de 'Pedacito se esperanza'.

'Pedacito de esperanza' is the first single of Diego Gómez's new project Cerrero. Featuring legendary Colombian singer Lucía Pulido with an striking performance, this raw explororation of ritual percussión, poetic haiku style lyrics, processed flutes and heavy bass, mixed in the purest dub tradition, creates an hipnotic groove that  reveals a new side of future roots sound.

Nicola Cruz, leader of the ecuatorian 'Andes step' movement and Mitú, colombian jungle techno project led by Julian Salazar and Palenquero percussionist Lamparita, provide two incredible and unique remixes for their first appearance in a Llorona Records project.

The 50th release on Sol Selectas Records comes from the label founder himself - Sabo, and features the musical talents of a mother & her son, as represented by the title Earth & Sun. Twenty year old Elijah Sage plays the ancient ravanhatta string instrument on the opening track "Young Wisdom", weaving an emotional mid tempo blanket to lie under the Sun.  "Obatala" is the story of the Sky Father Orisha, who creates all human bodies according to Yoruban mythology. The deep tribal groove is complemented by the vocals of Elijah's mother Nikila Badua, representing the roots of the Earth. 

Nicola Cruz from Ecuador, delivers a stellar remix of "Obatala"  taking us high into the Andes Mountains, where organic percussion and live marimbas flow like wind through the valleys. Blond:ish transforms "Young Wisdom" into a psychedelic tech house trip, adding infectious build ups and mind-altering  drums for peak time energy. And lastly Paris' Birds of Mind take us on a voyage into deep bliss with their ethereal reinterpretation of "Young Wisdom". 
The artwork by Helia Jamali, represents the loving balance between the Earth & Sun, and the energy they have created, makes the puppy flower dance in the desert wind.

Following the release of Prender el Alma (2015) and Nicola Cruz’s imminent global takeover, the young Ecuadorian called on a crop of producers for remix duty. Serendipitously, Quantic, one of Nicola’s inspirations, answered the call in his signature way with a bass-heavy, jazzy and psychedelic display of genius that will move any dance-floor that thrives on Global beats. The release comes on limited edition 180g 12" vinyl - the b-side lovingly etched with a design.

Empezamos el 2020 con un invitado especial y actual miembro del duo Zoroxxe, Joaquin Cornejo nos regala una seleccion de ambient tirado hacia el dub techno y ondas percusivas experimentales ligadas al lowercase. Un explorador nato que aveces parte de la pista de baile, y otras veces oscila habilmente a su alrededor, 

Joaquín Cornejo es un productor, músico y DJ ecuatoriano Inspirado por la espontaneidad, la asimetría y la intuición su música busca un sentimiento orgánico, no solo en la forma en la que suena sino en la forma en la que se hace. Buscandole el fantasma al aparato, Joaquín utiliza grabadoras de cinta magnética antiguas y juguetes análogos musicales acompañados de instrumentos acústicos con el afán crear música electronica profunda llena de textura y emoción.
