Freedom - The Love Freaks

Two singer songwriters from Holland combining forces. Matty with his psychedelic rock, terror, techno, avant garde background and Winnie with her soothing dreamy songs created a new kind of music together. Where the Masters of the Universe transformed themselves into a lost black hole, this duo sparkles bright like a newborn star. 

The Love Freaks is een eigenzinnig psychedelisch hippie duo dat met hun vers afgeleverde in eigen beheer geproduceerde debuut album voorgoed bewijst dat ze met hun akoestische, best rauwe, maar toch lucide songs klaar zijn voor hun publiek. 
Na drie jaar tegen de bureaucratische vergunningswind in geploeterd te hebben in hun kleurrijke cultuurcentrum en studio, de 'Langweiligkeit Tempel' in Den Haag is hun geliefde vrijplaats begin dit jaar onder bedenkelijke voorwendselen toch ontruimd. Voor eeuwig jammer, maar the Love Freaks hebben er toch hun roots kunnen vinden en zijn, gedreven door hun onmiskenbaar vruchtbare samenwerking en bijzonder talent, vrolijk freewheelend doorgeevolueerd naar de boeiende en betoverende act die ze nu zijn. 
Met hun oor en zinnenstrelende kosmisch bewuste en maatschappij kritische hippie songs nemen ze je mee op avontuur, naar een mooiere werkelijkheid waar pure liefde voor alles dat leeft de boventoon voert.
