When working on this project, my approach was initially to create everything from scratch. I wanted to keep it original and really put my own sounds on the tracks. However, as I got deeper into the project, I realized, after listening to a lot of great covers by other artists, that I could add some samples to make it more practical. So as it had been a lot easier recording with samples, I decided to add vocals too. Hope you like it.

Since I saw a video of Kraftwerk listening to an AIR song during a soundcheck I took time to listen all of its records. And personally I really liked what I heard, so I decided to pay a tribute to the group.
And after looking for some sounds to inspire me, YT recommended me Nicolas songs, and when I first heard The Border, I thought - Das ist toll ! - So I had to try that first.

This is not an official production, just a cover of Italy's "secret" performances from 1990. 
 These performances were the last appearance of Herr Bartos in Kraftwerk and were the concept version to what became the album The Mix from the following year. In the 90s, the Band was new to MIDI technology, so the songs had a more "experimental" style.
