Cloaked @cloaked-music makes his debut on Univack with a powerful EP titled “Corruscate / Hypervisor / Cascade”, featuring three original tracks and a remix. This UK-based producer delves into the realm of melodic Progressive House, delivering a release rich in textures, immersive harmonies, and emotional energy. As the finishing touch, renowned artist Dave Waker @davewalker contributes a reinterpretation of “Cascade” with a more robust, club-focused approach.

The EP opens with “Corruscate”, a track that flows with energetic atmosphere, intricate melodic layers, and precise production that captivates from the very first bar. In July 2017, "Glass Elevator" hit the Proton Music catalogue with its driving rhythmic foundations and flowing melodic lines. Now returning courtesy of a Particles remix edition, both the title track and partner track, "Polaris", are reworked by Sri Lankan and German talents.

From the Colombo capital on the glistening Indian Ocean cost, Dimuth K has hit upon a formula for success with his unique brand of underground house. With an innate passion for dance music growing inside him from an early age, Dimuth found himself performing in Sri Lanka's finest clubs alongside the likes of Guy J, Jeremy Olander and Cid Inc. The world of music production opened up in 2013, ultimately leading to a debut on Big Toys Production in mid-2015. Going on to produce a raft of original and remix material for such leading imprints as Black Hole, Balkan Connection and Movement Recordings, the Dimuth K sound has been recognised at home with a "Best DJ/Producer" award in 2017. As his reputation continues to grow far beyond his island home, support has come from Nick Warren, Max Graham and Hernan Cattaneo. A September 2017 Particles debutant with a remix of Tim Penner's "Lost Again", Dimuth K returns to the label with a typically mature offering that clearly resonates with the original as the melodic refrains from "Glass Elevator" drift across a deep and multi-faceted breakdown. A driving rhythm and ticking hi-hat percussive cadence provides dancefloor credentials with a subtle, subterranean bassline in force, to create an impressive remix.

An artist with abundant talent, Stephan Pietack, has been at the cutting edge of the underground scene since the mid-2000s with his MoodFreak moniker. Inspired by the "groove and depth" brought to the scene by such acts as Boom Jinx and Hybrid, Pietack hit the production trail with impressive results. Supported by the DJ elite of Above and Beyond, Armin Van Buuren and Paul Oakenfold and with remixes for Arty, Dennis Shepherd and Van Buuren himself, the MoodFreak name has certainly reached the highest echelons of the industry. Thus, over a century of production credits can be found next to the MoodFreak name for industry giants including Silk Music, Enhanced and Coldharbour. Forming the YOMO imprint alongside the iconic figure of Mike Koglin has further cemented an impressive reputation. Finding himself drawn to Berlin's deeper, underground side in recent times, a penchant for tech house and techno has begun to feature in the MoodFreak production arsenal as he now makes his debut on Particles with an outstanding remix of "Polaris". Retaining the hypnotic melodic framework of the original, anchored by driving beat and off-beat hi-hat percussion. The rhythmic stabs of the original filter into sonic range providing the basis for a shimmering and free-flowing lead line that features post-breakdown, with an acid-tinged, bassline providing the perfect aural accompaniment. The result is a beautifully understated affair that creates a wonderful reworking of "Polaris".

With the "Glass Elevator" shooting skywards once more, superb remixes from Dimuth K and MoodFreak can be found within.

Meditative and contemplative – words tumble and cascade in illuminating layers as the soft light of SolarSolar radiates from the streets of downtown Toronto. An elegant sonic palette, rich in warm neon glow reflects muted chord progressions that build in intensity to ask a simple question: "Why do I?" Sonic layers stratify in cloud formations high above the Ontario cityscape, warm pads provide a canopy of sound to envelop phrases that catch on the night breeze.

The raw emotion of Franz Alice Stern floods through the streets of Berlin. Rasping bassline authority pulses across a new sonic soundscape where life is to be lived in glorious and vivid technicolour; no rehearsal and no filter in a city that sprawls outwards, lights twinkling in a spider's web of connected streets. Rhythm and melody combine with haunting vocal to create a cool new history. Twin towers emerge from the sultry air of Malaysian skies, Westseven looks down from dizzying heights onto a Kuala Lumpur cityscape that never sleeps. Throbbing bass and thumping kick mirror the heartbeat of the city below. Vocals trip lightly atop the breeze on a hot and humid tropical night.

Pure silk flows through the SineRider sonic identity; aural chemistry offers a riot of colour from New England skylines. An explosion of sound erupts in a dazzling sonic firework display as a wall of sound teams down in golden glow through held chords and pitched vocal phrasing. Rippling pianos hypnotise in spinning circular Catherine Wheels, a galaxy of stars reveal themselves in a velvety backdrop.

One and once the same, or so it seems; infinity reflects a spinning figure of eight, "why do I?"
