A global renaissance figure debuts on Mango Alley, progressive in every sense. "Watching" with sparkling groove and sunlit melodic trope, Chris Cargo's sonic architecture hits sky-scraping heights, from Zurich and Paris to Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai. The regular patterns of off-beat percussive cadence hypnotise; a framework of steely beat and bass foundations provide the basis for spiralling motif and pad drone to reach upwards to dark skies.

Belarusian beats dominate; a rapidly rising star hits the heights as Michael A strides purposefully through the alley once more. A sturdy aural structure supplies an intricate grid of ticking hi-hats and skilfully placed percussive elements. Rising through linear form, a swathe of white-noise effects criss-crosses the stereo spectrum. Curved metallic structures create coruscating beauty from cold steel; cold, computer-driven tools create warm and tender moments.

From the land of the giant superstructure, an award-winning talent emerges. Music flows through the veins of Subandrio with parent musicians ensuring the lineage continues. Cultural influences lie in meandering chord progressions while a beautiful shimmering arpeggio flows out of windswept desert spaces creating rippled patterns that mirror the Arabian architecture. Panoramic views overlook cerulean skies and azure oceans as "Watching", the Subandrio sonic palette creates exuberant colours.

"From the clubs of his adopted home country and a residency at "Pacha Ibiza Dubai," Indian born Ejaz Ahamed has been at the forefront of the Middle East's underground dance scene. Performing across the region, support slots for Digweed, Cattaneo and Bodzin have catapulted Ahamed onto a global stage. A production career that began in March 2017 with a remix of Maurice Caron for PHW Elements has since seen him feature on the likes of BC2, Particles and Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital. 

Two previous appearances on Yin remixing Erdi Irmak and Andrea Cassino are now followed by a third as the instantly familiar vocal cuts and bass prowess of "Another Side" are treated to an intricate rhythmic framework and grooved bassline. The sumptuous melodic arrangement of the original sits further back in the Ejaz Ahamed mix, but a deliciously stripped back breakdown gives them room to breathe before the driving rhythm and bass hit their stride in the third movement."

We welcome him on Einmusika together with Audio Junkies. “A Major Minor“ comes with a clear groove and a dreamy and hooky key stabs. The melody is warm and uplifting combined with metallic parts, which guide you through the whole song. The basic theme has it’s peak in a reduced break full of magic. D-Nox & Beckers delivered a trembling remix which is remarkable from the first bar. It is bringing the summer nights back into our clubs. The B-Side is “Nobility of Time“ which leads into a shaky production with a big soundscape in the back and decent voice progression.

'Presenting their debut collaborations, Dmitry Molosh and Nopi land on Cid Inc’s Replug Records with ‘Consciousness Switch’.  Label artist and progressive music star Dmitry Molosh has found a comfortable home on the Finnish imprint. After rounding out 2019 with the chart topping ‘Cascade’, the Belarus based artist returned to Replug this year alongside fellow countryman Michael A for their ‘Integral’ EP. Dmitry’s 2020 has also been highlighted by his latest project for Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music entitled ‘Elison’. Having first appeared in March of 2019, Nopi has enjoyed a meteoric rise through the organic house underground. In just eighteen months the Ukrainian artist has found a home on Akbal Music, Kindisch, Sound Avenue and When We Dip XYZ. His fresh approach to deep and dreamy melodies has propelled him to one of the genre’s top up and coming artists. Now making a welcome debut on Replug, he teams up with label veteran Dmitry Molosh for a two-track showcase entitled ‘Consciousness Switch’. 

Getting underway with the title selection, Dmitry and Nopi combine their extensive forces for a cosmic slice of progressive house. From its full, muscular groove comes driving percussion, robust rhythms and ethereal effects. Evolving with power and class, placid atmospheres provide a colourful backdrop for a landscape of striking electronics. A majestic break sits at the heart of the journey, expertly crafted and spanning nearly two minutes in length, it’s effervescent rumble builds, as rising effects marry heartfelt harmonics for a commanding drop and enormous finale. 

Continuing the progressive minded ethos of the EP is the equally brilliant ‘Ungovernable’. Warm and mystical from the outset, the piece pulsates with cross cultural vocals blanketing rippling bass tones and free form effects. Effervescent stabs add character and grit as the vocal narrative evolves leading into the main break. Twisted bass modulation adds a wave of tension across the centrepiece, flowing through an unpredictable storyboard, before getting washed away in a rush of sonic decay and spirited vocals. Flawlessly tailored for an astute dance floor, it rounds out two stunning creations from Dmitry and Nopi, who have made their debut collaborative project a most memorable one.'
