From a city that never sleeps, Midnight Traffic surges through Hyderabad. A "Light Year" that sparkles and shimmers. Melodies become frozen in time, weightless and timeless they flow in never-ending patterns. White-noise washes and dizzying stereoscopic sensations converge again in hypnotic rhythmic cadence.

Egyptian skies reflect a new vision with striking beat. The rhythm of the earth's pulse reflected in clear night air. Amplified through a new sound palette, familiar pads sweep across time and patterns appear through new sonic architecture. Ampish travels a new "Light Year" where rolling bassline frequencies resonate in hypnotic dancefloor fashion in the flash of an eye.

From north-western Russia, Ewan Rill creates a new vision of St. Petersburg beauty. Dark intensity pervades the deep space of echoing bassline pattern that drifts effortlessly. A star-field of twinkling lights sonically reflected in delayed synth notes fade into the distance, colliding occasionally in reverberated openness. Power and clarity represented in mathematical precision through space and time.

From a storied city, youthful fascination saw Starkato "Wake Up" to electronic music. Blossoming with techno brilliance, fizzing synthesised lines crackle in summer lightning strikes. A menacing bassline looms large over Berlin, panning LFOs reveal an omnipresence against a powerful metrical backdrop. Cold and motionless, circuitry is brought to life in "Parada" where an analogue narrative continues through the German capital. Warm motifs pulsate in waves across ancient architecture as the beating heart of a city at European centre is mirrored in metronomic pulse.

Radiating light across the Mediterranean, Ampish shines brightly over Alexandria. Sonic waves glisten across the seas in percussive rhythms, a siren rouses all from night-time reverie. "Wake Up" reinterpreted in dynamic fashion from an Egyptian star in ascendance, as powerful chords and emotive patterns flourish. Returning with typical aplomb, Tantum brings "Parada" to life with passion and emotion. A rippling arpeggio explodes into life alongside powerful bassline presence and machine-gun fire percussion. Karlsruhe is the epicentre of creative virtuosity where rhythm and melody combine in symbiotic harmony.

'The latest release on Tash's Movement Recordings welcomes Simos Tagias back to the label for a new EP entitled 'Molecular'. The Greek artist has become a mainstay of the label roster with this being his eleventh appearance. As one of the most recognized names in progressive house, the Athens resident has showcased his music on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Cid Inc's Replug Records, Beatfreak Recordings and Sound Avenue. 2020 has once again been a fruitful year for Simos, already notching releases on Proton Music and UV. Now fresh off a remix for Clubsonica Records, Simos makes a welcome return to Movement Recordings with a three-track artist showcase.

Beginning with the title selection Simos explores his progressive roots with a warm, groovy creation that's sure to get your dance floor moving. Waves of undulating bass power the foundation while clattering percussion and cosmic effects surround the framework. Racing towards the main break, electric rhythms and luminous themes steal the air, perfectly setting up a tense centrepiece and exhilarating finale.

'Running Over Me' follows with a further lean towards astral techno territory. Rugged and rhythmic in all the right ways, fiery percussion and spaced out tones descend over the rippling foundation, as an indie-inspired vocal drops in for a magic moment. Expanding across a one-minute centrepiece, the vocal sits at the emotional core of the track, elevating mood before eventually getting washed away in a trail of astral sonics and punishing beats.

Rounding out the release is 'The Shamen' which finds Simos exploring another unique amalgamation of progressive house and techno.  Backed by a buoyant and well contoured groove, it's bounce and drive quickly become infectious. Billowing stabs and trailing effects offset each other nicely, as romping rhythms build momentum across the first act. Vocal fragments strike at opportune moments, adding additional depth as layers of sonic artefacts saturate your senses during a dramatic final movement. It rounds out a superb return to Movement Recordings for Simos Tagias, who is most certainly operating at a creative peak here.'
