From the foothills of the Sierra Chicas, Analog Jungs create a collaboration of epic proportions. A towering edifice to underground house where a sound garden full of hope has blossomed, "Basanta" appears. A creative playground of grooved bassline takes the initiative as subtle melodic flourishes ripple in dynamic passages. Heading to the stratosphere, ethereal pads sublimate into an aural vapour above a bedrock of rhythmic intrigue. Rising from the early morning mist, "Namaste" echoes a bassline dominance and imperceptibly heard motif. Shimmering in the golden sunlight a new phrase opens up with summer warmth and joy, built upon a heavy beat and chunky percussion.

Out of the bustling Berlin metropolis, Torsten Fassbender delivers a cutting-edge sound. Icy leads and glittering arpeggios glide in coruscating patterns with subtle reference to "Basanta". Myriad textures and sounds come together in a magnificent sonic landscape that glistens in the sun of snow-capped mountain tops. A UK powerhouse returns to familiar surroundings where Imran Khan creates a trademark foundation of granite bassline and earth-shattering groove. White-noise dissolves in white heat as it swirls in dizzying patterns. Hypnotism reigns supreme through rhythmic metronome, while power chords hold sustained force against swirling effects.

The latest offering from Madloch's Sound Avenue imprint finds the label presenting new interpretations of Nopi's ‘Hookan Idyll'. Originally released in October of 2020 as part of the Ukrainian's well-received ‘Where to Go' EP, it's deeper design and hopeful atmospheres charmed DJs and fans alike, proving once again what an exceptional talent Nopi has become. Now bringing new life to the much-loved track, Sound Avenue invites Forty Cats, Meeting Molly and Pedro Capelossi to re-imagine the production for 2022.

Returning to the label and providing the first interpretation of ‘Hookan Idyll' is Forty Cats. With well over a decade's worth of DJ experience, Russian artist Christina Gavrilova aka Forty Cats has been a fixture of her country's nightlife, sharing the stage with Jody Wisternoff, Nick Warren, Yotto, Dave Seaman and more. Christina's production debut landed three years ago via 8bit Music, and in relatively short order the Russian artist has gone on to release projects via Lane 8's This Never Happened, Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music, Juicebox Music and Mango Alley. Having made her Sound Avenue debut in January with a well-received remix of Eric Lune's ‘Dreaming Home', Forty Cats now makes a welcome return with an equally stunning take on ‘Hookan Idyll'. Smooth and rhythmic throughout, the Russian artist goes deep and driving for what results in a hypnotic eight-minute journey. Meditative lines, gentle tonal themes and intoxicating atmospheres unite across the first act, perfectly setting up an effects-laden break. Acid-like lines and ghostly vocal fragments emerge as the centrepiece evolves, adding a trippy flair as the narrative builds onwards to a thumping drop and colourful finale.

The title theme, is a well crafted progressive roller, emerging melodies with pulsating grooves and vocals by Sensitive who also sing on his live presentations, brings a powerful dancefloor track. On the remix duties of "Under the Lights", is Ric Niels debuting on the label, Argentinian producer from Chaco province with releases on celebrated imprints as The Soundgarden, Particles, Plaisirs Sonores and Mango Alley, now joins Transensations with his unique progressive sounds, presenting a remix which sets out as a flowing, moody and rhythmic journey, bound to conquer the dance floor audience. Next is "Way to Paradise" a groovy roller adorned with rhythmic pulses, Italo's lyrics brings an emotional depth to weave a personal journey for the listeners. Returning to the label and providing the remix of "Way to Paradise" is CRUXZ, creating a Melodic Techno version of the track, adding his sound signature with cinematic outcomes that boosts up the track's energy with obscure melodies. Techbrainers is a brand new project formed by Sculptor, who you might remember from his two previous release on Magnitude Recordings, and his brother. With 'Valhalla EP' they release their debut.

The EP kicks off with the title track, a deep intelligent and intense progressive house cut, whilst on the flip side you'll find 'Mushroomseating', an infectious funky and playful track. The final track is titled 'Revolt' and is the deepest of the three, perfect for building up the night.
