Biography:
Lussuria is an ambient industrial project formed in the Spring of 2007 by Jim Mroz.  Heavily inspired by early dark ambient and industrial music, Lussuria’s atmosphere is created through a combination of sound collage, sampled loops, and deconstructed musical sections.   The result has been described as chilling, even troubling.  Like listening to a feeling just out of reach. 
Through several acclaimed releases and performances stateside and abroad, the project has been referred to as one of the leading voices of modern Ambient Industrial.

Madben & Yann Lean unite forces under the Trunkline moniker for their Exhale EP on „made of CONCRETE“.

Title track „Exhale“ introduces a nervous soundscape through swelling sidechained 2-step drums in a dark, ominous ambiance accented with glitched out, eerie pads. CYRK take on the standout cut, infusing dance appeal through punchy drums and a stripped down bassline. On the flip side, „In Space“ offers a heady, straight to the point slice of peak time techno. Creating hypnotising sequences seems to be Trunkline’s forte, a trait easily recognized on „Groove Dat Beat“, the final track of the EP. Distorted yet angelic vocals provide a refreshing contrast to the overall raw feel, rounding off the release in a compelling manner.

"Rory St John returns to Voitax with »Excommunication«, a hyper-deep, futurist take on classic dub techno. Skillfully assembled, each of the four tracks hypnotically morph and evolve, forgoing the cheap tropes of today’s ‘rise and drop’ techno for a more immersive listen – one gets the feeling that each and every sound is wielded with precision, and exists exactly where and for as long as it should.

Reacting to the increasingly harder-edge sound that proliferates today’s techno, Rory St John strove to push his sound in the opposite direction. The result is sombre and introspective – a slick, reverberating antidote to mainstream anthems.

This release is markedly different to the abrasive stylings of his previous »Run Your Mouth« EP and reveals yet another side to the producer’s sonic palette."
