THE MARS CHRONICLES is an Alternative/Post Metal band from France formed in January 2012. 
The band creates a massive yet atmospheric metal influenced by alternative rock, progressive rock/metal, technical death metal and groove metal. 
The music varies from complex and aggressive rhythmic to epic parts lead by intense melodic vocals. 
After the release of the first song "Constant Show" on YouTube (59 000 views) on march 17th 2013, the band signed a deal with SEND THE WOOD MUSIC record label and 
SEASON OF MIST Distribution. Their first EP was released on May 13th 2013. 
This first effort was mixed and mastered by CHRISTIAN CARVIN from ALL PRODUCTION STUDIO and received unanimous tremendous feedbacks from the press. 
A video clip, directed by KICK YOUR EYES PRODUCTIONS, revealing the band’s unique visual concept was released on September 16th and quickly reached 50 000 views on YouTube.
First touring experience was as support act of oriental metal pioneers ORPHANED LAND for a 46-show European tour across 23 different countries from September 20th to November 15th 2013! 
Numerous reports established THE MARS CHRONICLES as a very promising live band as well as the musicians deliver an energetic, intense and flawless performance. 
Early October, the first EP was re-released in French stores by SEASON OF MIST Distribution. 
The band is currently working on its first full length album.
