Blackchild (ITA) returns to Solid Grooves to deliver 'Keep The Secret'.

Italian talent Blackchild (ITA) is on a roll right now, having released material via a host of top tier labels alongside Solid Grooves and his own LATEMORNING imprint over a huge summer for the rising prospect.

Fresh from his recent outing on the label's 2021 Summer Sampler, mid-October sees yet more dancefloor ammunition readied as he shows no sign of slowing down via 'Keep The Secret' on his return to Solid Grooves. Combining hazy low-ends, snaking synths, rumbling sub-bass and skittering drums beneath resonant vocal interjections, expect 'Keep The Secret' to feature heavily in sets across the months ahead.

Manda Moor hits back-to-back releases on Hot Creations with her Picante EP, accompanied by a remix  from Hot Creations artist and Mood Child co-founder Sirus Hood.  

It’s safe to say that the past 24 months have seen Danish/Filipino DJ, producer and label founder Manda  Moor surge onto the international house scene with a combination of stand-out releases alongside sets at the likes  of Hï (Ibiza), The Beams (London) and Club Space (Miami). Having made her debut on the label with the excellent  ‘The Climax’ EP last year, she returns to Hot Creations almost a year to the day with her latest EP as she brings  the heat once again with her ‘Picante’ EP - with fellow Mood Child co-founder Sirus Hood joining on remix duties. 

I’m extremely happy to have my second release in a row on Hot Creations. The ‘Picante’ EP is about  embracing your extra spice. We all have that special sauce that makes us unique and hot. I believe my  spicy side is from my Filipino roots, and even though I don’t like spicy foods, I am trying to educate my  pallet to enjoy more picante fire in my life! A bubbly and playful title cut fusing rolling drums, vibrant vocal interjections and a slick groove to bring plenty of  energy, ‘Picante’ takes cues from its title to bring a zippy production made to make crowds move, while Sirus  Hood’s take lays a focus on snaking drum grooves as crisp organic percussion arrangements take a hold. In  keeping with the theme, the EP is rounded out with another dynamic effort in the form of ‘Tabasko’ as Moor fuses  more lively and hard-hitting drum grooves with sweeping bird noises and further vocal samples for another helping  of dancefloor energy.

Nic Fanciulli returns to Hot Creations with ‘YSD, marking the release of his first EP on the illustrious label. 

With a myriad of projects on his plate, from commanding residencies at iconic venues such as Space Ibiza and Ushuaïa, to heading up his longstanding Saved Records imprint and championing talents like Dennis Cruz, Hot Since 82 and Francisco Allendes, it’s evident why Nic Fanciulli continues to stand as a beacon of undeniable influence and success within the electronic sphere. Having appeared as a remixer of Jamie Jones’ and Lee Foss’ famed ‘Benediction’ in 2014, the Grammy-nominated DJ/producer and label boss joins the Hot Creations family with original material for the first time, with his wealth of experience shining through across ‘YSD’. 

Honouring a classic, ‘YSD’ brings disco influences and pure house rhythms, diving into mammoth basslines and a thundering drum groove to present a masterclass in dancefloor euphoria. Keeping the vibes high and vibrant, ‘We R Bass’ concludes with thick kickdrums, warped vocal chops, and twisting synth patterns before unfolding into a mesmerizing trip.

Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, The Martinez Brothers are two of the most consistent and recognizable names in the world of house.  Stevie and Chris continue to push themselves creatively in the studio collaborating with global and Latinx artists such as Rauw Alejandro, Fuego, Rema and Tokischa. 

In 2023, we find The Martinez Brothers in a moment of creative renewal, kicking off an exciting new chapter in their illustrious career. They continue to cast a wide net with their collaborations, stepping into the studio with a new generation of artists like Eliza Rose, Tommy Genesis and Mochakk.  

The brothers are furthering their love affair with Ibiza in their second year residency at Hï Ibiza voted #1 Club in the World, after 10 years as residents at Circoloco, Ibiza. Paying homage to the isle that catapulted them to stardom, it was in Ibiza that they met Riccardo Tisci who brought them in to do the music design for his iconic years at Givenchy (2014-2015). 

Last year, the brothers headlined London’s hottest show of the year at Beams warehouse alongside Skepta, who debuted his first house music DJ set in his hometown.  Alongside this, they played the Met Gala afterparty hosted by Dua Lipa and at LOEWE’s Paula’s Ibiza pop up at the Sheats-Goldstein home in LA. 

In 2023 stage hosts include Kappa Futur Festival in Turin, Italy, Panorama Festival in Southern Italy, Eastern Electrics, London, Fabrik, Madrid, Audio Obscura at Amsterdam Dance Event and III Points Festival, Miami. 

The duo are avid sneaker collectors and vinyl record collectors, from all eras of Latin salsa, disco, funk, soul, jazz house and techno.
