Founded by Michael Bibi and PAWSA in 2015, Solid Grooves Records has grown from an underground London-based movement into a globally recognised force at the forefront of the scene. Its ascent has run parallel to the meteoric rise of its co-founders, whose uncompromising vision and dedication to the scene have helped establish the label as a benchmark for quality and innovation within the house realm. Now, that journey hits a pivotal point. Bringing together core members of the label's journey over the past decade, the 100th release is a powerful statement of where the label stands in 2025 - forward-thinking, dancefloor-driven, and relentlessly tuned into the sound of now and tomorrow. A defining moment for the imprint, the release gathers the extended Solid Grooves family for a no-holds-barred package that captures the essence of the brand's sound, ethos, and evolution. The ten-track compilation features fresh music from both co-founders, who each return to the label for the first time since 2023, alongside long-time Groovers Dennis Cruz, Bassel Darwish, Reelow and Ramin Rezaie - artists who've been integral since the earliest releases. It also champions and celebrates the key residents and the ever-emerging new wave of talent shaping the label's future, with standout contributions from KinAhau, Ben Sterling, Blackchild, and Silvie Loto. Closely tied to and landing just ahead of the collective's Ibiza summer residency at DC10, this release is more than a collection of tracks; it's a celebration of a sound, a scene, and a crew that has grown stronger with every passing year. Defected house hero Ferreck Dawn returns to the London label with fiery summer heater ‘Deep Inside’. His previous label release in April 2025, ‘Make Me Weak’ featuring vocals from Carolyne Byrne, showcased an evolved sound for Ferreck - receiving much radio support across the UK, US, Ireland, France and his home country of The Netherlands. The Dutch powerhouse continues to go from strength to strength with an upcoming set at the label’s new residency at Pacha Ibiza and weekend festival Defected Malta in 2025. For his latest collaboration, Ferreck Dawn enlists Hayley May, a talented singer, songwriter and versatile musician who is no stranger to the Defected family; her recent collabs with artists like SAINT, Solardo and TCTS have proved Hayley’s worth as one of dance music’s most in-demand vocalists at the moment. Blending steel drums with fiery electronic rhythms, ‘Deep Inside’ shows Ferreck Dawn at his brightest and most dancefloor-ready, with Hayley May’s deliciously slick topline sure to remain with listeners throughout the summer.

When Jamie Jones and Nicole Moudaber first collaborated on Hot Creations in 2020 with ‘Pepper Shake’, the result was a record that became an instant fixture in DJ sets worldwide for a seemingly never-ending list of names. Five years on, the pair return with ‘Where All My People’, a powerful anthem that merges Jamie’s signature groove-led style with Nicole’s unmistakable drive and energy. The record is further elevated by the pen and infectious vocals of London-based duo House Of Molly, whose recent work includes collaborations with Eats Everything and Piero Pirupa following their debut alongside Moudaber in 2024. ‘Where All My People’ is a celebration of rhythm, anchored by a rolling bassline and crisp percussion that form a tight, understated
groove. House of Molly’s commanding vocal hook runs through the track like a thread of energy, adding a human touch that feels both intimate and anthemic. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, The Martinez Brothers are two of the most consistent and recognizable names in the world of house.  Stevie and Chris continue to push themselves creatively in the studio collaborating with global and Latinx artists such as Rauw Alejandro, Fuego, Rema and Tokischa. 

In 2023, we find The Martinez Brothers in a moment of creative renewal, kicking off an exciting new chapter in their illustrious career. They continue to cast a wide net with their collaborations, stepping into the studio with a new generation of artists like Eliza Rose, Tommy Genesis and Mochakk.  

The brothers are furthering their love affair with Ibiza in their second year residency at Hï Ibiza voted #1 Club in the World, after 10 years as residents at Circoloco, Ibiza. Paying homage to the isle that catapulted them to stardom, it was in Ibiza that they met Riccardo Tisci who brought them in to do the music design for his iconic years at Givenchy (2014-2015). 

Last year, the brothers headlined London’s hottest show of the year at Beams warehouse alongside Skepta, who debuted his first house music DJ set in his hometown.  Alongside this, they played the Met Gala afterparty hosted by Dua Lipa and at LOEWE’s Paula’s Ibiza pop up at the Sheats-Goldstein home in LA. 

In 2023 stage hosts include Kappa Futur Festival in Turin, Italy, Panorama Festival in Southern Italy, Eastern Electrics, London, Fabrik, Madrid, Audio Obscura at Amsterdam Dance Event and III Points Festival, Miami. 

The duo are avid sneaker collectors and vinyl record collectors, from all eras of Latin salsa, disco, funk, soul, jazz house and techno.
